Corporate Researcher

The Research team seeks to add value to our internal and external clients through delivering actionable insight, enabling data driven decisions and developing analytic products/partnerships. Deliverables are closely aligned to the firm's industry and go to market strategies. We are part of the Data Office.
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of research and insight across the firm and to support our digital initiatives including SharePoint sites, Power BI dashboards and research databases.

A look into the role
As a researcher within our Research Team, you will:
Support the service delivery of research requests coming into the team and support the management of our portfolio of research databases
Undertake research requests to deliver insight and analysis on companies and industries, using a range of research databases
Work on our digital assets including updating and designing Power BI dashboards
Support the Research Team on its profile raising and knowledge management objectives, actively sharing knowledge and effectively uses knowledge systems available in the firm, such as the social business platform and intranet, monitoring our shared inbox, responding to enquiries and updating our sharepoint sites.
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a researcher, the minimum criteria you’ll need is experience in a similar research environment within professional services or a professional qualification in Information Management. You will need to be confident using a range of research databases and Excel and Power BI. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
Experience of using a range of research databases, including BVD suite of products, Factiva and Refinitiv Eikon
Excellent knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel and Power BI or similar
Good project management and organisational skills and sound commercial awareness
Proven experience of building and managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors
Educated to Degree level with an Information management qualification or substantial experience
